ABOUT
Lineage Ceramics launched in 2020 and we were lucky to get brought in right from the get-go. With fresh branding and beautiful high-quality imagery, we had the pleasure of collaborating with the design team to launch Lineage on social media, while reaching out to national media outlets across Canada to really bring the brand to life online and off.
We built our content and digital marketing strategy on traditions, nostalgia and the art of collecting memories - the mission and values of the brand that are rooted deep within the concept of families old and new.
Founder, Shuobi Wu comes from a 100-year lineage of ceramists dating back to 1900 when his Great Gran-Uncle Chen opened his family’s first ceramics shop in Teoswa. To keep his family’s ceramic legacy alive and support his father’s studio, Shuobi launched “Lineage Ceramics” in Vancouver, Canada. It’s his hope that Lineage tableware will bring people together to dine, chat, reminisce and establish those memories that are sparked at the sight of the ceramic dishes many many years later.

Humanizing the brand
The ask on our end was simple, establish a digital presence, showcase the timeless quality of the ceramics and permeate the story of Lineage through all channels. It was our challenge to take the human connection that was built into the brand identity and translate that into the copy.
To bring this concept to life we enlisted our stop motion videographer to help us capture the essence of the dishware and reimagine the content in a more engaging way. These visual assets, along with elevated copy, and custom digital design allowed us to dig deeper into the storytelling component and showcase the pillars consistently through social media, blog posts, newsletters, and earned media campaigns.
